Why men don't go full-time?
Every step we take towards full-time evangelism leads us to a more intimate relationship with the Lord and in turn, we reap the rewards by receiving love, joy, hope, patience and kindness. Preaching full-time rather than just at the weekends, helps us to get to know the Lord better and helps those that hear you preach the Gospel to know the Lord better too. There are so many wonderful benefits to becoming a full time evangelist, the fellowship, the experience of ministering to the people and the closeness you will feel to the Lord as you preach. Full-time evangelism makes dealing with resistance you face much easier. All too often I meet people who tell me that they are interested in becoming an evangelist...one day. But why wait until you're older to regret doing something you wished you would have done when you were younger? Time waits for no man. If the lord is calling to you right here, right now, you must heed that call and follow the path to full-time evangelism. Don't let everyday obstacles get in your way. The Lord has equipped you with all that you need, particularly if you have youth on your side. He has given you the energy and the focus that you need to spread the word. Today in America, it can be seen that the stature of a man's wealth seems far more important than the stature of a man's righteousness. Once in that trap of earning money and being dazzled by the material things it can buy you, it's hard to keep faith, stand back and look at where life is taking you.
